The THENSA Online Entrepreneurship Programme is a SAQA aligned programme endorsed by the Munster Technological University (MTU) in Ireland. This entrepreneurship programme gives the youth of our country a new way of looking at the world of work, rise of new business start-ups, significant impact on the economies, job creations and community upliftment.
The pilot online entrepreneurship programme was officially launched to 50+ learners from DUT on 27th October 2021 at DUT. The Online Entrepreneurship Programme was presented on the Telegram Messenger Platform and support to the learners was provided via Atlassian with Jira Service Management. This process was managed by THENSA. A second was launched and institutions were requested to nominate first year students to participate.
The purpose of a second pilot was to identify any difficulties or access issues (on the Telegram Messenger Platform via Atlassian with Jira Service Management) that students may experience with the THENSA online programme.
This programme will be rolled out to all first year students of THENSA member institutions in 2023.
