In order to foster a culture of innovation and empower the leaders of tomorrow, the Technological Higher Education Network South Africa (THENSA), with funding from the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI), is thrilled to announce the upcoming Five-Day Entrepreneurship Training Workshop which will be held at The Premier Hotel in Cape Town from July 31 to August 4.
For this workshop, 23 students from the Western Cape and the Free-State will go through a week of interactive sessions with facilitators Ms Vani Moodley and Mr Thulani Ngcobo of Vani & Associates, who will provide training on how to start a business, conduct a lean business canvas, devise a cash flow statement and pitch to funders and investors. At the end of the week, students will have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of funders and investors in a Dragon’s Den type of event.
